Use the Splash section as a visual header or hero area on a page: a strong image with a headline, subheading, or short message placed over it.
Adding the section
Click the + button between sections and choose Splash.
Adding a background image
Click the image icon in the section toolbar. Upload an image, choose a stock photo, or paste a URL. The section remains empty until a background image is added.
Editing text
Click anywhere on the section to write. The same content blocks as in the Rich Content section are supported: headers, paragraphs, lists, buttons, and more.
Section settings
Open the settings (cog icon) to adjust:
Color overlay opacity — controls how strongly a color is blended over the image. Lower values show more of the image, higher values make the overlay more prominent. Default is 70.
Text position — align text to the top, center, or bottom of the section
Section styling
Use the paintbrush icon to set section height (S / M / L), background overlay color, spacing, and width.
