Project Admins can configure the language used for contact communication emails, such as invitations, updates, and access notifications. This setting ensures that all contact-facing communication from microspaces within the same project is sent in the correct language.
What this does
The client communication language determines the language used in all automated contact emails for microspaces that belong to the project. Once set, all notifications to contacts from those microspaces will follow this language automatically.
Available languages
English
Dutch
German (new)
If no language is selected, the system will use the organization-level default.
Who can do this
Only Project Admins can change the contact communication language. Organization Admins can still set the default language at the organization level, which applies to all projects unless a project-specific language is defined.
Default vs project-specific
The default client communication language is set at the organization level by an Organization Admin.
In each project, you can choose to either:
Use the organization default, or
Set a project-specific language.
When you open Project Settings β Client Communication, you can select whether the email language source is Organization or Project.
How to set the language
Open your project and go to Project Settings.
Under Client Communication, select the desired language from the dropdown.
Click Save to apply changes.
All microspaces within the project will now use this language for contact-facing emails.
Example use case
If your organization operates in multiple markets, you can configure each project to communicate with contacts in their local language. For example, your German project can use German templates, while your Benelux project continues using Dutch.
No additional configuration is required. Once the language is set to German, all contact emails for that project will automatically use the German versions.
