Microspaces are made up of pages. Pages are made up of sections. Each section holds a specific type of content — like text, images, video, splash, team cards, or embedded content.
Sections let you control the structure and flow of your page. You can mix and match different section types to create anything from a simple explainer to a fully styled sales deck.
Section types
Microspace offers several section types, each designed for a specific kind of content:
Text section
Good for creating and structuring content, including headings, paragraphs, links, lists, tables, buttons, and layouts. Text sections can also be made collapsible.
Splash section
Designed for visual impact, with large background images and text overlays. Includes layout and alignment options.
Team section
Used to present editor profiles or internal team members — not external contacts. You can add a photo, name, role, contact details, and choose between different card styles.
Video section
Lets you embed a video from YouTube or Vimeo. You can control the size of the video (S, M, L).
Record a video
Lets you record a short personal message directly in Microspace. You can apply color filters and record up to 2 minutes.
File section
Lets you add a file block for downloadable documents.
Supported files:
Images (JPG, PNG, GIF)
Documents (PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Maximum file size: 20MB
Embed section
Lets you embed external content from tools like Figma, Miro, Calendly, or Google Maps. Useful when those tools provide an embed code.
Upload section
Lets your contact upload files into the microspace. Only available when the microspace is shared via Invite only.
You can add a new section anywhere on the page by clicking the plus (+) button that appears between sections.
Moving sections
Use the up/down arrows on the right side of each section to change the order of your content. This helps keep the flow logical and easy to scan.
Styling sections
Click the paintbrush icon to style your section. Options include:
Section background color (based on brand settings)
Section spacing (S, M, L)
Section content width (S, M, L)
Background images and image overlays (on supported sections)
For team sections: image radius and card layout
Deleting sections
Click the trash icon on the far right of a section to delete it. This action cannot be undone.
Tips for structuring your microspace
Start with a few key sections
Build the essentials first, then expand as needed.
Use splash or video sections to draw attention
Splash sections work well at the top or halfway through a page to set the tone. Video sections help explain complex topics.
Break up long pages with visual blocks
Use team, file, or embed sections to add visual structure and variation.
Keep pages focused
Give each page a clear purpose to help your audience follow the story.
That’s it! Now you’re ready to build clear, well-structured microspaces.
