Using Locked Pages

Add centrally managed pages to your microspace.

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Locked Pages are read-only pages managed centrally in the Library by a Library Admin. Editors can add these pages to any microspace, but cannot edit the content. Locked Pages always show the most up-to-date content available in the Library.

How to add a Locked Page

  1. Click Add from template in your microspace.

  2. Select a microspace template.

  3. Choose a Locked Page from the list. Locked Pages are marked with a lock icon next to the page name, indicating they are centrally managed.

Once added:

The page appears in your microspace. You can

  • View the content of a Locked Page

  • Set the page to draft or live

  • Adjust its position in the microspace.

You cannot change the text, images, layout, or structure of the page.

Uploads and comments

If a Locked Page includes uploads or comments, contacts can interact with them just like on any editable page.

If the Locked Page includes:

  • File Upload section – contacts can upload files.

  • Comments – contacts can leave comments on the page.

These uploads and comments are only visible in the microspace where they were added.

Removing a Locked Page

Editors can remove a Locked Page from a microspace if it is no longer needed. This only removes the page from that specific microspace. It does not affect the original Locked Page in the Library or other microspaces using it.

If you need to request a change to the content of a Locked Page, reach out to your Library Admin.
