What are Locked Pages

Reuse centrally managed content that stays consistent across microspaces.

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Locked Pages are centrally managed pages created in the Library and reused across multiple microspaces. They work like embedded components: when added to a microspace, the content is pulled directly from the Library and cannot be changed by Editors. This ensures shared content remains consistent and controlled across teams, clients, or templates.

How they work

Locked Pages are added to templates by Library Admins. Editors can include them in their microspaces, but the content cannot be changed.

If a Library Admin updates the page in the Library, the changes appear automatically in every microspace where it is used.

Who can do what

Only Library Admins can create or update Locked Pages. Editors can:

  • Add a Locked Page from a template

  • Set it to draft or live

Editors cannot edit the content of a Locked Page.

When to use

Locked Pages are useful for information that needs to stay consistent across teams and microspaces.

They help when you want to:

  • Keep shared content consistent at scale

  • Avoid duplication

  • Maintain brand consistency

  • Apply updates from a single place

Locked Pages are available on Premium and Enterprise plans.
