To use Microspace effectively, it helps to understand a few core building blocks. These concepts shape how you organize content, collaborate with others, and manage communication in the platform.
A microspace is the space you create and share.
Editors are the people inside your organization who manage microspaces.
Contacts are the people you share them with.
You organize microspaces using projects, manage reusable content in the library, and track what happens through engagement insights.
These building blocks work together to give your audience a tailored experience and give you control and visibility as an editor.
Roles
There are five main roles in Microspace:
Editor: Someone inside your organization who creates, edits, and manages microspaces. Editors decide what content is shared and who has access.
Contact: A person outside your organization who receives a microspace. They can view the space, react, and reshare microspaces depending on permissions.
Library Admin: An editor with additional rights to manage templates and reusable blocks.
Organization Admin: Oversees the Microspace environment for the whole company. Can manage branding, roles, and integrations.
Project Admin: Manages editors and microspaces within a specific project. Can configure project settings such as branding, security, and member access.
Library
The Library is your central place to manage reusable content across your organization. You can create and maintain:
Templates: Standard layouts for common use cases that help your editors get started quickly.
Locked Pages: Centrally managed pages (like disclaimers or about pages) that cannot be edited by individual editors.
Assets: Images, videos, or other files that can be reused across microspaces.
Using the Library helps ensure consistency and saves time especially when working across multiple teams and microspaces.
Projects
Projects are a way to organize your microspaces. You can use them to group related microspaces together, apply project-specific branding, and restrict access to selected members only.
Engagement Insights
Microspace includes built-in analytics to help editors understand how their microspaces are being used. You can view:
Microspace engagement: Overall performance of a microspace, including its engagement score.
Contact engagement: Insights into how individual contacts interact, including a per-contact engagement score.
Content engagement: Breakdown of how each page or block is performing.
